What this site keeps.

Almost nothing. This page says what the exception is, where it lives and how to have it deleted.

The short version.

If you don't use the waitlist form, I never learn anything about you. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no fonts, scripts or images from anyone else, and has no share buttons or embedded players.

If you do use the waitlist form, I keep the address you typed so I can email you once about KAN_1. It is not sold, not shared, and not added to any list beyond that one.

The browser tools on this site — data review and overlay — never upload anything. Your video and your CSV are read by your own browser and stay on your own machine. There is no server for them to go to.

What the waitlist form collects.

One required field. Everything else is optional and exists to answer a specific question.

Server logs. The form posts to a Cloudflare Worker, and like any web request that leaves ordinary connection records — including your IP address — in Cloudflare's own logging for a short period. I don't read them, don't export them, and don't join them to your submission.

What this site does not do.

Each of these is a constraint on how the site is built, not just a statement of intent.

  • No cookies. None are set, so there is no cookie banner to click. The light/dark toggle lives in the page and forgets itself on reload.
  • No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Cloudflare Web Analytics, no pixels, no fingerprinting.
  • No third-party requests. Every stylesheet, script and font on these pages is served from this site or already on your device. Nothing loads from a CDN, so nobody else sees that you visited.
  • No advertising, and nothing here is an ad network's business.
  • No account, ever, for the browser tools. They are free and they stay free.
  • No selling or sharing of your address. Not to a partner, not to a mailing platform beyond the one that sends the message, not to anyone.

Where it's stored, and for how long.

Waitlist entries are stored in TODO_STORE, hosted on Cloudflare. The single availability email is sent using TODO_MAIL_PROVIDER. Those two providers process the data on my behalf and for no other purpose.

Kept until whichever comes first: you ask to be removed; or the availability email has been sent and a reasonable window for you to reply has passed; or I decide the product isn't happening, in which case I'll tell the list and then delete it.

There is no backup archive that survives a deletion request. If you ask to be removed, the row goes.

Your choices.

Email TODO_CONTACT_EMAIL and I will, without asking you why:

  • Tell you what I hold against your address — it is short enough to paste into a reply.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete it. This is the one I expect to get and it is not a problem.

Kairos Engineering is a one-person project in Australia and is well under the turnover threshold at which the Privacy Act 1988 automatically applies. I follow the Australian Privacy Principles anyway, because the alternative — deciding my own rules for someone else's email address — isn't a good look on a site whose whole pitch is that your data belongs to you.

Changes to this page.

If this ever becomes a shop, this page has to grow — payments, addresses and order records are a different conversation, and there'll be terms of sale alongside it. Until then it stays this short. The date in the header block is when it last changed.
